Leeds City Council urgently needs your buildings/estates energy consumption data, please can you help.
Leeds City Council through the Leeds City Region team has just commissioned a high level feasibility study for compiling accurate heat mapping models for the region. This study will allow us to develop proposals for future low cost low carbon heat networks delivering heat to partners across the city on the back of energy from waste, and smaller distributed generators. The development of district heating in Leeds will help safeguard future energy costs, and should involve as many Leeds based bodies as possible.
The focus for us right now is Leeds city centre and the Aire Valley. We are collecting simple energy consumption data for the last three years from public and private bodies with a significant heat demand in Leeds.
If you are interested in the future potential of district heating in Leeds, please find a little time to fill out the proforma attached to this post. You can just complete the more simple ‘essential’ worksheet, which is quite straight forward. For more information, help, or if the attachment has failed please do not hesitate to contact me:
The deadline for this is 13th December
