Many people will know of the local food movement that began in Todmorden and is now spreading across Yorkshire, the UK and worldwide. Incredible Edible helps people to change the way they think about food and about where they live, starting with edible plantings in public places and using this as a way of building community, stimulating learning and supporting business. In Leeds the Edible Campus is a world first – and there’s more to come.
To help others who want to create Incredible Edible projects where they live we’re now producing a book that tells the story of Incredible Edible Todmorden and uses it to capture the learning of six years’ work and inspire others to take action. It’s written by Incredible Edible co-founder Pam Warhurst with Joanna Dobson, and we’re now crowdfunding the resources to pay for the first print run. We’d love it if anyone can support this project or share the campaign with friends and colleagues or on social media. Thank you!
