A couple of years ago I presented some work to the Leeds Initiative on how we could develop a bottom up approach to city development that would fit with the well established top down processes in the city and, in todays language, give us a shot at achieving ‘Best City Outcomes’ and encouraging ‘civic enterprise’. There are a few things I would change. But not much.
